NYSCI Design Lab

SITU Studio

2014

Design Lab is a series of five activity areas recently opened to the public at the New York Hall of Science. Each of these five spaces; Sandbox, Backstage, Studio, Treehouse and Maker Space are distinct in scale and character, occupying approximately 10,000 square feet total. The areas are designed to host a diverse array of STEM and project-based learning activities.

I was responsible for all of the CNC operation on this project, including loading materials and unloading parts, organizing parts, and troubleshooting programming issues. I also assisted in fabrication on the Studio and Treehouse elements of the project.
